Thomas (the first guy on the left) is the ultimate maker. You just have to give him something to develop to make him happy. Is our non-coffee-drinking Italian, who likes the challenge no matter if outdoors or in business. Christian is our outstanding industrial designer who loves to create, no matter the task, he will crush it. And the last guy on the right Manuel Z. Is the software guru. He loves to code, test earphones and discover music at the same time.
THE DEVELOPMENT We have all worked for many years and felt the pain of time tracking more than once and in June 2015 we decided to start this journey together and bring this to an end. The very first prototype was crap but good enough to talk to as many people as possible and gather their feedback. We've collected a lot of feedback and built many more prototypes till we found the perfect combination of features for the first version of ZEIº. EnchantVC Batch 1 BETA And in May 2016 we decided to do something unusual. Many supporters asked us for a test-device but at that time we had no money to produce enough prototypes.
So we decided to ask our supporters if there are 50 people willing to join a paid beta program, where they get a test device and other special stuff. The response was unbelievable.
Within 10 minutes we've found 50 supporters and at the end of the day over 450 supporters wanted to join. This was an incredibly motivating response for us. Unfortunately due the lack of resources we were just able to accept the first 100 supporters. From this moment on our adventure got even more exciting.
During the following two months, we worked very hard to built 100 prototypes and a software that our beta supporters could test. Everything except the molding and electronics manufacturing was done by us by hand. First assembled ZEIº beta-devices During this beta, we have learned a lot about manufacturing, worldwide shipping, hands-on support and obviously the product itself. The feedback, the ideas and the effort of our beta community have helped us to evolve the product better. WHY KICKSTARTER Our Beta-Program in summer 2016 was already kind of a crowdfunding campaign and we loved it. Building a product together with the support and feedback of a strong community is invaluable and now we want more.
We're here not just to pre-sell ZEIº to you, but rather to expand our passionate community of innovative individuals. We believe that you can play an integral role in the development of ZEIº.

However, we know that the most important part of our process is that we fulfill our promise to you and deliver your ZEIº on time and in the expected quality! Though we have preliminary agreements with manufacturers, we want to mitigate risks for any potential road bumps along the way. We have shipped working devices in 15 countries but now we will face new challenges related to production, packaging and shipping at big scale. We are certainly up for this challenge and confident we will deliver!
