I am not a fan of games that constantly harp you and encourage you to spend real money. Everytime I load the game, it has to tell me about the latest Microsoft sale to buy Gold.
Gold is the in game currency to speed up things dramatically. However, as a free player and having to wait is not a bad thing.
It starts off fast as first, but once you get going, everything takes longer to build or train troops, unless of course you spend Gold. Aside from all of that, it is a decent game. I like how you can build different castle structures and see different people try to destroy it.
I know there are other games out there like this, but being Age of Empires, I prefer this style. It has depth and can be a long term game to played off and on. If you are a fan of Rts games or AoE at all, it's definitely worth checking out. Being an Age fan since the 2nd game and having poured hours into every game that came out I was quite skeptical of this game. It takes a very different turn from the strategy of other Age games but deserves a good chance. Because I gave it one I found some of the same old Age of Empires feel and desire to keep conquering. I think its a game definitely worth playing and is something I hope will be given new content as time goes.
But, with out further going on I want to say this game is truly fun and if I might say so myself quite awesome. Give it a chance there's nothing to lose!:D P.S. Long Live Age of Empires! I've tried a lot of games like this. Even the paid ones. Yes, you get the option to spend real money on this game, but it's not necessary if you wish not to. I use a Surface Pro 3, maxed out - so the graphics are superb.
Pediatric Echo Report Template here. Yes, even use Windows 10 Pro. So, let's get into it! You start small, of course. A few days later, you can start shaping things, a few weeks later, your either going to keep rolling with it, or you'll quit.
My guess is, after you wait that long, it's something you keep coming back to in your free time, like me. If you use a touch tablet like me, this game utilizes touch - flawlessly. Protocol Test Harness Crackle on this page. Puts a whole, greater spin on the battle. It's very smooth, never choppy.

This game is VERY balanced between defense and offense, so it offers a well balanced game play. Heck, I paid out for some gold, some $13 bucks, just because I really felt these developers deserved money for the experience and quality that you get from this game.
@nobrainer - No, Enlight is not closed, they still sell their games, I know for sure as I actually bought both Capitalism Lab and Restaurant Empire 2 from their website two days ago, so they're VERY much in business. Also in the confirmation email they sent me when buying the games, they said that if I had any questions, I should address them to As I had questions regarding Capitalism Lab, I did send them an e-mail about it and got a reply on January 12th 2015.
