I put a warmoth vintage modern neck on my Tele. (feels a LOT like PRS's wide thin neck). My first was a Strat that played fine, but doesn't come close to the fit & finish, playability and design of the PRS. Don't get me wrong, the Strat was the bees knees when it first came out, but Paul's design is an improvement in every way. I also like the fact that it's not imitating another guitar. A PRS sounds like a PRS. Excellent choice to keep beginners from getting frustrated with their instrument.

It also plays better than some $2000 guitars I've played. They're going to sell a LOT of these. Ummm.No Bought this for a student, who was happy with it. I was not impressed. Uneven frets. File marks in the fret board.

Strings that obviously have been sitting in a warehouse for MONTHS. This was the second go 'round, too. The first was much worse.Cosmetic flaws that were sickening. Sent it back.

(Thanks Andre) Quality control on the Standards is non-existent. Do yourself a great big fat favor if you want a PRS. AT LEAST move up to the Custom SE models. The difference is night and day. Got one of those in a GC store (also owned by MF company) and the thing is outstanding. Of the SE Standard, Chappers and The Captain said. 'great value.'

Bloody mad, the both of them. Mow lawns, clean windshields, walk dogs. But spend the additional 250 and go Custom. The very expensive PRS guitars are indeed fine instruments, worth every dime. The cheap ones.not so much. If all you buy is sub-grand guitars, and you have some luthier skills, you could make this work, as it really doesn't sound as terrible as it looks. It is not, however, worth the lower price tag.

I have owned guitars since the 1970's. Spend the money. Regret is a nagging pain in the but-tox that never goes away. Comments about PRS SE Standard 24 Electric Guitar: I use to be guitarist myself in a band. My son now is interesting in learning this instrument.

We went to the music store, trying to find a guitar. He grabbed a Gibson Les Paul. ( It was one of those cheap ones.) I understand buying a starter guitar doesn't mean buying a 150 dolor(website won't let me spell it correctly) piece of acoustic junk. We decided to go with the gibson, until we were checking out.

The cashier said ' We got a guitar that's better and cheaper, and nobody touched it before, since we just got it yesterday'. I asked him to bring it out, so I can try it out. The Prs SE has much clearer sound, and better craftmanship. Gibson, watch and learn! Comments about PRS SE Standard 24 Electric Guitar: I have been a guitarist for more decades than I care to mention, and this might be the finest guitar I've ever played.

The quality, right out of the box, was obvious. The finish of my translucent blue Standard 24 is beautiful.

The intonation spot on. The neck is slim and fast with no buzz.

Download Real Player Plus Portugues Serial. The pickups are sweet and powerful in both humbucker and single coil modes. Switch and pots are great, as are the keys. I can't say enough great things about this beautiful instrument! I've been a Gibson Les Paul and Fender Strat man all my life, and this beauty does it all. If yours is on back order, be patient, it is so well worth the wait!

Daniel was great at Musicians Friend with my order. Knowledgeable and friendly. I have zero complaints about my experience with them, or this beautiful guitar. Comments about PRS SE Standard 24 Electric Guitar: I purchased the tobacco sunburst version and let me tell all of you that PRS guitars are a must for beginners to professionals. They encourage you to play. The feel of this guitar is out of this world. I was so impressed with the craftsmanship, tone and the way the guitar feel in my hands and against my torso.

I will never play another guitar manufacturer again and believe me, I've had quite a few axes. I also have to give props to Musician's Friend for the great, and I do mean great service I received when making my final decision. My experience with Bill gave me the absolute confidence of purchasing more equipment to get me well on my way to becoming a great guitarist. My dad told me to become something in life and being a musician is what I choose to be.

Regret is a nagging pain in the but-tox that never goes away. Comments about PRS SE Standard 24 Electric Guitar: Very solid, well made guitar, the finish on the translucent blue is flawless, and looks beautiful, much better in person. Controls are done well. And work as stated, Of course I got a pro setup on it. Dropped the action, new strings, locking tuners.

New nut, truly plays like a dream now, kept the stock pickups, not sure if I will even change them. I have many more expensive brand name guitars That I love, and bond with extremely well, And honestly this holds its own to them all, it's light, has a Fast neck. Fret work is done really nice, Neck joint is perfect to body. And the tone is really, really good.

And to top it off, I used my back stage pass points and paid half price. Thanks PRS, very well done on a quality made instrument that you can play any genre with. Get the sound you want, Without paying a small fortune, if your interested in this guitar like I was, and hesitant to buy it without playing it first. Which I really don't like to do, but I have gotten lucky with my purchase from M.F, don't be afraid to buy it, play it, enjoy it, go make some music with it, it won't disappoint you,!!!!

Comments about PRS SE Standard 24 Electric Guitar: I've wanted a PRS guitar but, the American made ones were just out of my price range. I thought I'd give the import a shot and, see if I liked it. Sounds Great, plays Great, Looks Great, I'm very satisfied with this instrument. The neck is wonderful and, super easy to play. Tuners hold tune Great. Workmanship is excellent, mine was made in Korea for what that's worth. I have China made guitars that are excellent too.

I have played it alongside of American made guitars with no complaints. Comments about PRS SE Standard 24 Electric Guitar: So I've purchased probably about 7 different PRS SE's Customs in my lifetime, and Ive sold everyone. I always kept coming back for the look and feel, not to mention some of my favorite guitar players play PRS but I can't afford a USA one. The thung about the customs is that the neck is definitely a bit chunkier on some models and/or they always sounded too bright to me and just enough balance in sound. So I decided to give this one a try and I'm incredibly pleased. It's just what Im looking for in terms of tone. Gray Matter Pc Ita Download Firefox. Like an sg but with a better feel and 24 frets.

I put the Dark/Warm tone comment there inly because it may be hard to get a nice bright sound when you need it without treble bleed. But It is really is great. I swapped out the pickups which were my only real peeve along with the cheap nut. Now it has USA hfs pickups and it sounds pretty close to my friends 22 year old CE. Just a tiny bit tamer and not as big of a sound I suppose. I can't really complain too much though, with a little modification it's a great instrument!

The snap of a bolt-on neck with PRS features and craftsmanship. Since the dawn of rock and roll, the snap and response that comes from a bolt-on neck guitar has been an essential part of the mix. These attributes have, in turn, become essential to many players trying to tell their story through music. The CE 24 brings the bolt-on platform back to the main PRS lineup with some significant updates. The CE 24 pairs PRS’s traditional body combination of the mahogany back and maple top with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck sports a Pattern Thin carve and satin nitro finish for a natural, addictive feel. To further maximize the guitar’s inherent tone and clarity, the CE 24 features PRS 85/15 pickups, which Paul designed to have remarkable clarity as well as extended high and low end.

The electronics consist of a volume and push/pull tone control with 3-way toggle switch for a total of six classic sounds. The original CE was to introduced in 1988 and offered players PRS design and quality with the added snap and sparkle of traditional bolt-on guitars. Returning after nearly a decade of being out of the lineup, the CE 24 is back and better than ever. Comments about PRS CE 24 Electric Guitar: This was my third purchase from MF.

Up until now, I was a satisfied customer. I fully expected a new guitar. That 'open box' monologue they spin is obviously false. I received a guitar that looked as if it had been a floor model on the lower rack--easy to grab, easy to dent and scratch.

I called customer service the day I got it. To my surprise, they wouldn't pay shipping. I sent the guitar back on my dime, which amounted to about 75.00 uninsured. Hear that sound? That's me cutting up my Musician's Friend card. Comments about PRS CE 24 Electric Guitar: I own several PRSi, and I love them. Outside of an S2 Vela, and a Santana SE, the rest are core models, including a 1991 CE Custom 24.

I have never had an issue with any of them.until I tried to buy a new CE-24. The first one they sent me was dinged up, the nut was poorly installed, and the neck was out of 'true', meaning it was poorly mounted. Needless to say, I sent it back. Two weeks later, I received another one. I opened it up, picked it up, tuned it up, and tried to play an F chord.it buzzed, really bad. I felt around the back of the headstock and the splice was raised up! It is a 3 piece join, like the S2's, but this was unbelievable.and it was set up with 10's!

The neck was like a rubber band, and I was afraid it would snap, if I tried to play it! I sent this one back, and am now waiting on a new core model, that I ordered. I hate to say this, but the new CE's are nowhere near as good as the older ones, and I would order an se, or an S2, before I would ever buy another one of these. I've been a player for 40+ years, and am an authorized Fender and Gibson repairman. I have played a few of these in stores, since then, and have found it to be a systemic problem.

I imagine there are some good ones out there, but unfortunately, I didn't get one of those. I will add one positive: the pickups on these are amazing!

The first one I got had great tone, and I definitely love the 85/15 pickups! Comments about PRS CE 24 Electric Guitar: This is an amazing instrument! The sustain is unbelievable. The 85/15 pickups have a warm smooth sounds and the coil tap gives you 6 different tones to choose from. I played this guitar next to the PRS Top 10 $3600 guitar and this one had better sounds and tone quality.

Don't let the bolt on neck sway your thoughts it sounds great. The neck is wide and flat and begs to be played, the satin finish on the neck is silky smooth. I could not find one mistake in the finish or craftsmanship on the guitar. The quality is top notch.

String height is better than most guitars from the factor, not high but not extremely low either. Best of all no buzzing frets.

It comes with 10s which was different I usually play 9s but only took a couple days to get use to. If I could only have one guitar this would be it. Its just that nice!
